He began his professional career in cinema, as an assistant director. In 1983 he was part of the team of professionals who started the Catalan broadcaster, Televisió de Catalunya (TVC). He worked as a fiction director for the channel until 1995. Some of his most remarkable achievements at TVC were: director, scriptwriter and actor in the comedy series “Vindrem a sopar” (Guess who’s coming to supper!); director of TVC’s most emblematic promotional campaigns, which made him obtain several Promax (the most prestigious award in this sector); and the creation of TVC’s Promotion and Marketing department.

In 1995 he started directing commercials, and has consequently won the most prestigious advertising awards, both on the national and international level. He has worked in Spain, USA, Mexico, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Turkey, among other places.

He directed the feature films “¿Culpable de qué?” (“Guilty of What?”, 1994), which he also wrote and produced, and “Vivancos 3” (2003), which he co-wrote.

The genre to which he has dedicated the majority of his career and which has made him receive the most recognition is comedy. His most valued professional quality is his ability to direct actors.
